I've been to P&L on Queen before, but never for their food. Once they opened The P&L Burger late last year, they have gone on to win CMT Burger Wars Toronto, beating out The Burger's Priest and Dangerous Dan's (well duh). After this, a lot of hype around this burger joint circulated around social media, and friends were telling me that I definitely had to try it out. So I headed down with my fried, Avi (who crowns this joint the best in Toronto), to try it out for myself.

The P&L: bacon, cheddar, onion jam, iceberg lettuce, dill pickle mayo + rings

The Italian: mozzarella, roasted hot and sweet peppers, sautéed onions, marinara sauce + kale caesar (he swears by this)

All I need

About to go in

A must for these burgers

The P&L Burger's simplistic approach to the ever-evolving burger joint was what definitely caught my attention. With so many burger places popping up left and right, it's really hard to keep track of what's what... but one thig's for sure, you cannot mistake or forget the amazing food at The P&L Burger. Their style is straight to the point: they make good burgers. Their patties are juicy (approximately ten napkins worth), and their short list of burgers definitely serves up variety. And for all of the herbivores out there, they didn't forget about you neither! The establishment probably seats 9 people at best, but on the busy Queen W strip, most people I've seen coming in have no problem with that. Their staff is awesome, accomodating, and really care about their product. Although many burger joints flood this area already, if you haven't already been, I suggest you do... The P&L Burger is definitely a winner in my books.
